If you have wached the game tonight, then you will have noticed the difference a world class player makes to a team. Gerrard was and still is a class act, EVERY ball he put in was fantatsic and Carroll should of scored at least 2 form them.
I can definitely see carroll scoring with Gerrard on the pitch, what a player he is and no matter who we have signed no one has so far come close to the impact and delivery the lad has. Just simply awesome...oh, i did say when he came back he could be a catalyst for the rest of the team; looks like i may have been right!!

That's exactly what I've been saying. Gerrard made Torres look good and he'll do it for Carroll
too.

Adam should be beched from now on, he can be effective for us coming off the bench for Henderson/Spearing, in the last 15-20 mins.

Better second half from Carroll than I have seen this season but he struggles with the basics - lets not dwell on that though, Stevie, Skrtl, Bellers all played great and 3-1 is a decent result, word of caution though Newcastle may of only been a point behind us but they have only won once in the last 7 games
