Anyone else think that Lindegaard could have saved it? It was an excellent strike but he seemed to react late after it came over the wall. That said, Ba's goal was also excellent.

In my opinion, this summer our squad needs a massive overhaul. best United player was Valencia for me. Our best player going forward for me. Says a lot considering he was at right back.

Giggs, Rio, Evra and Carrick all need to be replaced and got rid of. Problem we have is there is no competition for places. Nani plays better when he knows he has competition for his place. With Valencia at right back and young out, who else is challenging him? Rooney was woeful. Can't help but thinking if he'd played against Blackburn, we wouldn't have lost either of these games! He looked rusty after he started to look like getting some incredible form.

City will trounce us at the weekend. I think even Arsenal will turn us over in a few weeks. Bad times for United and I'm never negative.

We need to write this season off though and anything we get out of it is a bonus. Panic buying in the January window is not the way forward!
