Premier Leauge clubs are notoriously ruthless when it comes to sacking under-performing managers. Can anyone think of a manager of a Premier League team with as bad a record of Kean over such a large number of games?
I honestly can't. And for me that makes him the worst ever.
Worst Premier League Manager Ever?

Does your username have anything to do with Layer Cake by any chance MrMortimer?
Its interesting that you see a difference between a young, inexperienced manager and Kean. I don't see one at all, Kean had a phenomenally unimpressive playing and coaching career before magically getting the job at Rovers. He'd never come close to being a manager before, nobody had ever seen managerial potential in him, and unsuprisingly he's proven he definitely isn't a manager.
Its no exaggeration when Rovers fans say they'd rather have literally anyone else in charge than Kean. If we plucked a manager out of the Blue Square Premier he'd be better qualified and more likely to succeed than Kean.

I would say give the job to John Coleman but that would be disastrous for Accy Stanley and I like them too much.

No nothing to do with Layer Cake I'm afraid... haven't seen it... should I be offended by that?
I don't see a difference between a young inexperienced manager and Kean... what I was saying was who would take on Rovers now - given the position they are in? I don't think the high or even mid calibre managers would see it as an attractive prospect.
Saying anyone rather than Kean is one thing... but you could bring someone in and get no more points all season. I understand your frustrations, don't get me wrong, but just don't know whether removing Kean would help - given that you would be replacing him with (in all probability) someone of exactly the same mould.

Steve Kean has already done better than Billy Davies & Paul Jewell did at Derby in 2007/08.

Relegated in March, worst ever points and goal difference and matched a 108 year record of the only team to win one game in a season.
Makes Steve Kean look like SAF.

Nah, Mr Mortimer (more commonly known as "Morty" ) is the bodyguard/security for Daniel Craig's character, he's something of a badass.
The squad we've currently got should be capable of finishing about 11th-15th, so even with nobody at all managing them they'd pick up at least some points in the rest of the season just through their own ability. I'd say its even arguable the team could have gotten 14 points from 20 games with no manager, indicating Kean is literally useless. Anyone who's managed a team before or who has played football for a half-decent club is automatically at least one level above Kean. The guy is almost unmatched in football for his lack of qualifications for management.

No... I wish it was because of that then - but sadly not.
Sacking Big Sam was extremely rash... even if the owners weren't happy with his comments about being a "small club" he would have steadied the ship and worked you to the top half of the table... ...but that's ancient history now!
Yes Kean isn't a great manager - but would bringing in someone else actually help the situation?

Would you be happy with Kean gone but no more points all season?

but there was a sacking in between and their squad was useless.
