Hope there is no trouble on Sunday.

I was speaking to a red today, he was telling me that a number of his red mates had been down to city today, and bought tickets in with the city fans.

There is every chance that the two sets fans are going to clash. I deplore football violence, and strongly hope that both sets of fans show restraint, and live with the score on the pitch, irrespective of the outcome.

The match is now a sell out, with restrictions on drinking (all the local pubs have been ordered to close) and no street parking close to the ground.

Come on lads, let the back pages be filled with the game itself.

Like a good eccles cake, tend to find oat cakes are a poor imitation of a flapjack though.

Can't beat Bakewell tart with a dollop of custard, far better than crappy oatcakes

Manchester Tart always leaves a pleasant taste on the tongue.

Ah Manchester tart, which one?

racist comments/songs are well out of order but I cant help thinking that L/pool as a club are getting hammered for what ONE player & and a handful of fans have supposed to have said.

Plenty knocking about, avoid one with a crust though. <ok.

Bloody hell ONH, are you angling for a PR job at Anfield?

You don't see the Manchester tart as much as you should though, shame because it epitomises my love for custard.

Suarez looks like he's become the poster boy for the BNP though, those fans arrested at the Oldham game had copy cat tshirts on didn't they?

I work a lot in Liverpool and know an awful lot of scousers. While its a scruffy place I'd never want to live in,I'd always defend them as being said to be racist as in my experience that simply isn't true. All said and done the football club have handled it that badly they could be city in the 80s and 90s,the t shirt PR was an absolute disaster and in many ways the football club itself has caused far more harm than the idiotic Suarez or the pimply little tosspots last night
