Tv cameras and video evidence is being used to track down the offender, his/her seat ticket allocation.

If the 'supporter' in question can be identified then surely so can the people sat within earshot of him/the incident therefore the police and the club can interview all witnesses and find out exactly what happened and deal with it swiftly and effectively!

IMHO if the young Oldham player was racially abused then there is no defence and the fan/s involved should be banned from football grounds for life and then the police can dish out any relevant punishment!

I think, if found guilty, he should be banned from attending the next 8 games.
