But the sky reporter watching the match just said Everton created a lot of chances, and we were let off on quite a few few occasions. I didn't see the game, but surely conceding that many clear chances can't be a good thing? Most match reports said it was a comfortable performance however, so I'm a bit confused.

Everton had about 0 clear cut chances. Luckily they only took 0 of them.
We were well worth the 2-0 win and dominated from start to finish.

We dominated the game and though they could have had a penalty we could have had one too. Based on chanced we were more likely to score a second than them a third.

Boys are spot on we controlled the whole game mate and at times were all over them
