..while watching the game last night Man city v Liverpool. I felt sorry for one particular player who had come to City in search of glory and to better himself. (if u wan be the best i guess u have to play with the best) and of course if you are the best team there for you have the best fans to.
this one player who was brilliant for half of last season and fade somewhat towards the end of the season, is no longer the player he used to be.
I mean it doesn't help when ur not starting week in week out, but that what happens when u get above your station mate and u think u've made it.
The player I felt sorry for was Sami Nasri, i really liked him at Arsenal he could have been another Ljungberg, or Overmars, i would go as far as to say he could have taken over Cesc's role but instead his choice to move for the money.
These players forget its the team that make the player not the player making the team.
I felt sorry for.....

Well, how long a timeframe do you want to put on it? So far you are judging it on 20 PL games and one season in the CL. Without knowing him personally, it would be difficult to say what his individual motivation is or whether he feels he is getting better training now or before.
I agree that general happiness is much more important in any job than winning medals or salary. I just don't think you can comment on that without personally knowing someone.

and if he doesn't win anything.. would u accept that he has actually gone backwards as player??
Cos his no longer a 1st teamer, his played less CL football. and his played out of postion most games cos there are better players then him.
-------
none of this means that he has gone back as a player.
at city he is fighting for a place with aguero silva balotelli and johnson.
at arsenal he was fighting with arshavin and rosicky

Just one more goal
"IMO football isnt JUST about winning medals, its about improving as player and a team and if along the way u win medals then that is also a bouns."
Do you honestly think todays professional footballers see the game in the same way ??

SANDSEND
I think there are VERy few professional footballers see it that way, mostly its about the money, then its about winning medals.

IMHO Arsenal should be glad they got rid for the money they did, he had a great 6 months.
He is one seriously over rated puppy
