No,no, no...if you talking sound then the frequency emitted by standing on the leaf is picked up by the inner ear...in essence the ear is a transducer that converts this frequency of the leaf to what we call the audiable frequency range (20Hz to 20kHz) for humans and we hear the rustle....
So we caused the noise by standing on the leaf and the leaf emitted the noise!!!
