Arsenal and Man U injuries

Which are more significant.

For Arsenal we have our defence decimated by injuries to the point where Squillaci played. Its affected our defending and probably even more so our attacking which lacks the width full backs provide and makes us very predictable and easier to defend against.

Man U have injuries to their midfield, the heart of the team.

In my opinion I think Arsenals injuries will prove more significant as they affect both ends of the pitch. Even if we dominate midifeld we have been struggling at both ends so when Man U get the ball in the lst third they will have an advantage and when they defend it will be easier.

Having said that Im still hoping we get the win.

Arsenal list this season: Wilshere, Sagna, Diaby, Gibbs, Santos, Vermaelan, Jenkinson, Afobe, Coquelin, djourou.

All have been out for a significant period of time this season.

Anyway.... we have both had a torrid time of it and are still doing relatively well.... pats on the back all round.

Isn't it easier to list the players who haven't been injured for United ?

The keepers, Evra, Nani, Diouf, Macheda.... am I missing anyone here ? maybe Pogba and Morrison as well though they are on the very edge of the squad, maybe keane as well.

Even Jones missed a game as a precaution....

The problem with a lot us our injuries is we have 3 first team players out and other injuries to the players whom would cover for them so at the moment we are playing our 10th/11th choice defender.

I'm sorry I left this discussion after one comment because it was very well reasoned with very little sniping! I think we can all agree that both teams have been hampered by injuries. Arsenal fans must be happy that there's another team up there with them for injuries in the last couple of seasons!
