Based on actual performances and ignoring the side he plays for, has undeniably been one of the absolute top performing centrebacks in the league this season. Brilliant at his job and whatever club he plays for apparently has an amazingly low goals against column.

Yeah Sktrel is probably the second best centre back in the laegue this year after Kompany. I never thought I would utter those words lol.

Skrtle and Agger tbh have been the most consitent cb's this season IMO
May not technically be the best but they do the job theyre reliable and have all the attributes to defend , maybe luiz is better going forward vermalen has a better shot then them etc but defenisvely there amazing - from my view seeing how poor our defence is id love to have enrique at the bridge and Agger

Skrtel was great last season also, playing in nearly every game for us. It's good that people are finally taking notice of him, if not a little late.
