I'm sick of hearing all of this should the King be sacked or not talk.
He's done a brilliant job, he's stabled a sinking ship, given our squad a depth it hasn't had in years, got us one foot in the Carling Cup final, we're still in the FA cup and we're unbeaten at home this season in ALL comps.
When was the last time we could say anything like this about our season?
Not only has he done this, he's done it in ONE year.
We have to accept we're not the team we were a few years ago when we regularly finished in the top 4 and we're not going to be when you lose players of the quality of Arbeloa, Mascherano, Alonso, Torres and add to the the ageing of Carra and injury problems of Stevie.
It's going to be a long road to get us to where we want to be and Kenny has built a solid foundation for us to grow on, there's quality youth for the future and there's a solid squad there to be built on with quality. I realise we're not going to get the top quality players without champions league but we will get there before the end of Kenny's reign as manager. Just look at Spurs and City 3years ago. You would have laughed if I'd told you that they will be challenging for the league in 3years time.
We need to get behind the team, realise that it's a long process and just wait for the good times to roll in.

i would have to say the money kenny has spent with that money even hodgson would have done a better job.no body should b beyond critism kenny,s buys have been horrible and lately his tactics have been shocking .anybody who replaces merrielles with adams doesnot deserve to b in a job.

So, we aren't top of the Premier League, not in the European Championship (I'll ignore the cups) and Kenny has had a whole year. I bet that everyone who has posted against him could each have done a far better job!!!! In fact I'll bet that if some of the world-class football managers - they all post on this site by the way - had been given the chance, we would have won the Premiership already!!!!! With only half of the season gone !!!!! Honest !!!!!!! One thing all of the rat of us can be sure of, from now on in, that they will always be right and that Kenny, and those of us who have put our trust in him, will always be wrong. How can anyone possibly say we have a poor defence? We've got one of the best defences in the league, it's our strikers that are the problem. Suarez aside, we haven't got anyone who we can rely on to bag goals (and even Suarez doesn't score that many). We need a predator who is just there to finish off chances.

Hippo, I can take wum from you any day, its what I expect, and I take absolutely no offence. It's just that, at times, some of our fair-weather supporters talk total tripe at times. The more I see of Carroll, the less I am convinced he will come good in a Red shirt. He's actually worse than Torres, and that takes some beating.
