According to Lucas's Twitter, this is his last week in Brazil and he will be at Anfield to watch the 2nd leg of the CC.
Good to have him home.

I just hope he doesn't lose too much of the bulk, which made him a stronger player for us and less likely to be nudged off the ball. However knowing how professional and determined Lucas is, i can see him back training his heart out and back from injury sooner than expected.

He won't.
if anything players put on more muscle in rehab. once the op was over he wll be beginning rehab at some level and building up and building up. Given the dedication he's put in before i suspect he will be even stronger coming back

Errr no. When you have an injury, as serious as Lucas has, that part of your body, in Lucas' case his knee, you can't exercise it and lose a lot of weight around it. I know this from personal experience.

I hope he hasnt been in the gym, if he rests 3 months it will be the type of rest that will help his muscles grow, his game will improve due to switching off as his mind will be fresh and possible implicit solutions worked on unconsciously ----meaning a better player on the books and he will bulk up better due to the rest.
