Seriously Bates - Stay out of it

http://www.skysports.com/story/0,19528,11715_7001597,00.html

Why doesnt he just leave us alone and stop commenting on Grayson's players. He is going to cause MORE unrest within the camp. As if Johnson, Kilkenny and Bessone are enough to be pee'd off at the club, he has to go and say this to the media about Kasper.

He wrecks my nut!!

Jonty, his mouth and his wage structure just keep
digging the hole deeper for us. Who's going to look
at Bates and say to their agent "Sign me up for that!"?

Has SG totally bought in to Bates' thinking? Or will he
have a quiet word and say "Shut it."?

I think I know the answer...

The sooner Bates goes the better. He has done nothing but bleed the club dry and lie. There is no way he has our best interest at heart. A Chelsea mercenary who is causing us no end of problems. I don't buy into the 'he saved us' nonsense either. We got promoted from league 1 in spite of him not because. With more belief and just a LITTLE funding we could have been promoted last year too. I'm afraid I fear the worst as long as this man is involved with our club.

What a set of muppets. The team management have decided they need a better keeper. Kaspers agent is saying hang on for 12 months and I'Il get you a £1m signing on fee and Bates is saying think about your career. Does any fan want to see another 70 goals conceded next season? Of course not.

A perfectly reasonable statement under the circumstances.

I would if it means we concede 71 next season.

Koppite, we're muppets and WUMS then. Genius.
I might have to start calling you 'Barbie'. Because
every Barbie needs her Ken. She's always dressing him up, trying to make him appear better than he really is. And everyone knows Ken is just a frustrated 'Action Man' who never had what it took to make the grade.

So, go ahead you Barbie, keep calling those of us firmly planted in reality, Muppets, WUMS, and witches.
You now have a label too. You Barbie.

Why should he stay out of it? He's the owner of the club and pays the wages of these players. I personally believe everytime bates has spoken out he's Been completely right in everything he's said, mcartney, johnson and now kasper. Although he could show a little more tact from time to time

I agree entirely with this comment by U7209

When you treat your players like this, don't be surprised when you find it hard to convince other quality players to come and joing the club Bates.

Jonty64, he's speaking about a player who has been told by the manager that he can go, a player that knows his future now lies elsewhere. A player who has resorted to tweeting and it would appear putting stuff out to the press. He's the chairman of the club and by virtue of that he is entitled to his opinion. He's waited a few days before coming out publicly, I think he's shown a bit of restraint.

Eric, he's speaking about a player who had an agreement to play next season and then heard not by the manager but through the press that he's going.

Kasper put a stetement out to counter all the flak he was getting due to Leeds portrayal of the situation.

You, like Grayson/Bates are making Kasper out to be the villain of the piece, which I think is incorrect.

My own opinion of the situation is that Kasper agreed to join us on a 2 year contract to gain experience and when that contract was up he planned to move on to a top PL team and that this was why he signed as there was an understanding that he would be allowed to run down the contract but Bates just seen the pound signs and that was it and now they are trying to make Kasper out as a bad keeper who was to blame for a poor defnce last year.Yes Kasper will be a good keeper in time but hes not the finished article yet although i dont know where we are going to get better for free whilst offering poor wages.

Good for you. That is what opinions are for.

Jonty...You're doing it again! How do you know they had an agreement for him to play next season.

LDL You are working on supposition!
