Toss Of a Coin..... I Wish

This from Grayson in a YEP article:

"Asked if Howson’s desire to move on pointed to a lack of ambition at Elland Road, Grayson said: “I don’t think so. He sees what we’re trying to do but it’s a toss of a coin. How can you say who’s going to get promoted definitely? We’d all come up with different answers".

Toss of a coin? I don't thinks so. With a toss of a coin you have a 50/50 chance of success which are far better odds than Leeds current chances.

Jonny Howson wants to play in the premiership but he does not believe he could achieve it with Leeds. Given the current state of affairs at Elland Rd can anyone blame him?

Bradley Johnson a lesser player than Jonny holding his own in the premiership and earning premiership wages whilst Jonny has to put up with Bates preferring to finance hotels and function rooms rather than invest in a decent team.

It pains me to say it but any Leeds player with ambition will find those ambitions better served elsewhere, away from Bates. Snodgrass certainly seems to think so. (See link below)

7 Years of Bates and still no end of it in sight.

What a sad state of affairs currently prevails at Elland Road.

It just gets worse.....

And finally a big thanks to Alex McCarthey and the rest of the Ipswich defence for today's gift.

I was gobsmacked at that comment too, on one hand he says we have squad to go up, next thing he is effectively saying he doesn't have any contrail as to how well they might do.

He really should go.

He should go, I agree. Unfortunately, he won't! Bates has him just where he wants him. He is clearly a Bates 'yes' man and having each and every one of his strings pulled by Bates. Once Bates decides he is past his use-by date, that'll be the time we'll see him go. For now, absolutely no chance. If it was really down to evaporating promotion prospects, he would have gone after the Christmas period fixtures. He hasn't, so Bates clearly has other items on his agenda and Grayson is The Man for now.

Some say it's better to give than to receive. I'll stick with receiving on occasions like today.

Bad news but not a shocker by any means.

Don't be perturbed though, we fortunately have a good businessman at our helm.
