Tbf it wasn't as bad as Fowler returning to Liverpool and becoming a laughing stock (not because of his return, I was actually excited to see him back) but because of how evidently bad he had become. It's a shame he ruined everything he had previously achieved

Though Larrson only scored 3 goals, his link up play was great at UTD

The Voice, Fowler and Larsson are the most blatant cases of the gulf between perception and reality.

Fowler came back and once he got fit enough to start matches, scored or set up a goal in every match for three months. Liverpool finished the season with a prem record for the club 82 points.

Larsson showed up, started a lot of matches, scored one goal and left.

I was being honest, Hendrik was one of my favourite players.

But I've always been both baffled and bemused by the reality v perception of those two bosmans.

The reality is a galaxy distant from reality.

Not making it up, it really is facinating and true.

Fowler upon returning failed and failed miserably. The points total was down to other better players. (Alonso, Gerrard, etc). His return is comparable to the return of Dagliesh. These 2 returns are 'fairytale' returns but were never going to be good ones. It's clear that as a manager Kenny is inferior to Hodgson and quite significanlty worse than Rafa. The latter 2 are proper managers with managerial skill. Now even Liverpool fans are admitting it. The same way Fowler upon returning was, dare I say it as bad as Carroll is now
