Get other players to take a few lessons from Gerrard in order to learn how to get the ball on Andy Carroll's fecking forehead

Getting players in the box would be a good start!
We bought Carroll (not going in to how good he has been here) who is plainly not an out-and-out striker. He is more like the old fashioned target man.
If we are going to play him, then get players in the box to support him when he flicks headers on, Bellamy for the goal yesterday for instance.
Also, Gerrard as a DM for heavens sake!!! He is no longer a box-to-box midfielder, so play him in an attacking role where he will get on to the end of loose balls and do what he does best, where he will give opposition players something to worry about with his defence splitting passes and shooting.
Play the players we have in the positions they play in the best ffs!

Get at least one good striker in during the transfer window, then get back to attacking football. There would be totally no sense in getting a good striker and then playing 'park the bus' football.

Finally, get some of the young lads on the bench and give them a try. All this 'too young' is rubbish. If a player is good enough, he is old enough.
If that mentality had prevailed a few years back the likes of Owen, Fowler, and others would probably never have played for us.

Also relieve Gerrard of defensive duties to conserve his energy for attacking. Let others take corners and leave Gerrard in the box.

We missed Lucas a lot yesterday but I dont think that there was another fit DM avalible was there?

Spearing is the only real DM that we have until Lucas comes back from injury.

Well gerrard is, but he is wasted in that position!
