Can FIFA do something about Pepe?

Most who watched El classico last week would have seen what looked like a deliberate stamp by real Madrid defender Pepe on Messi’s hand. Now before I go into the 10 match ban Pepe received a few seasons back for kicking a player twice while he was on the ground follow this link,

I have seen a number of classico's and in almost all of them Pepe looks to do something or hurt someone. He is generally spiteful and when the ref makes a call he either hurl abuse or questions every ref decision for the entire 90.

I know in football you have those characters like Barton but I don’t think I have ever seen such a lunatic and dangerous human being on a football pitch.

Can Fifa do something, about it, maybe according to the laws or as an intervention because how long can he keep doing this?

I dno't think they can. All of the actions involved have taken place in the Spanish league, so it would have to be the Spanish FA.

If he'd resorted to similar antics in European competition, then it would be down to UEFA to take action.

Ideally though - and as a Madrid fan - it's Real Madrid who should intervene. He was left out of yesterday's team vs Athletic Bilbao, and it's said that they'll keep him in the cooler for another week, but I'd like to see him dropped for good.

after the getafe incident, pepe should never again have played for madrid

He didnt play against Bilbao and will not feature in the return game in Barcelona. Real Madrid said due to injury.

What can you expect from a club with this manager? No behaviour at all. Only excuses.

he always leaves his foot/leg in longer in tackles than anyone would naturally need to. In short he's a belllend

Pepe shouldn't play full stop! he is more than crazy and I don;t mean it in the figurative sense either!

Jose gives him his blessing to act like this.

Ramos can be dirty as well. Especially when barca start winning, I remember him giving messi a right kicking near the end of a game.

I don't blame him, I watch some of these Spanish fillies playing some weeks and if you sneeze too hard they are looking to fall over and try to get you sent off...Sometimes I am so disgusted by those tactics I want to kick the offender to the moon and back.

Even though you might be right in the main, it's no defence whatsoever in Pepe's case. He just loses it, plain and simple.

Watching the Casquero/Getafe incident from a couple of years back is enough to tell you that.

itsonlyagame - my team is bigger than your team (U6426)

If I remember correctly i was watching that game and the Getafe players were falling over, and I may be wrong but that wasn't the first time that player went down looking for a foul in the match...I do agree that Pepe is prone to some silly moments but to be honest some of those players(Spanish/English etc.) need a good kicking for their disgraceful antics.
