Liverpool

Some days football just clicks and others it doesn't. For Liverpool it just ain't clicking at the moment. This is down to several reasons, long-term and short-term. New squad being the first long-term factor, gel time, understanding and each players most effective position. Liverpool have tried a lot of different formations recently as well which just shows a working formula has not yet been reached. Lucas being injured has made this formation problem all the more difficult as players who wouldn't normally look to snuff out a pass or make an important tackle are now being expected to. Suarez being out as well is a huge creative loss, as people have been saying he has been our major creator this season and his loss is huge. Carroll for some reason just isn't working and Downing has been a let down which doesn't make sense! At times the system seems confusing and time will hopefully fix this! Bar the last game the defence has been solid, results this season are going to be disappointing I reckon, the best chance we have of pushing ourselves up the table is when Suarez gets back. To quote the cliche next year will be our year... inconsistency has gone on too long this season with no radical change seeming likely. Perhaps a fresh face will be brought in and that could mark a turn in the tide, let's hope it's bargain and effective.

The one issue we have is that David Silva, the best player in the world (Messi isn't a player he's a God) is back and that will make a HUGE difference to City.

Have to agree with Rap on this one.

Silva is not the best in the world bar Messi.

I think it's something like fourteen assists for Silva this season double any other Premiership player. Top man, that none other than Benitez wanted to sign for Liverpool.

Talking of pushing a manager out prematurely fans often don't realise the turmoil of changing the boss can be just as bad, this is what Arsenal will find if they force Wenger out.

Look at all the players Kenny has shed over the last year it takes time to mould a new team and we still haven't been able to get all the players in that we need. That's why Kenny deserves another year in charge before we can judge him.

I'm all for Kenny staying but that doesn't mean he shouldn't come in for criticism. There are a lot of flaws in his tactics and style of play but if he is willing to learn from his mistake then there is not much more we can ask for.

Hopefully this happens sooner rather than later

Well Kenny should get at least this season but I wish we'd make moves in the transfer market in January to kick on this year!!!

I'd certainly rate Silva in the same bracket as Ronaldo.

Yea we are but two games away from a trophy and Europe, that is a pretty successful season with a new team and two important players missing the rest of the season and a quarter of it respectively! De Jong not a bad shout at all, with that argument as well you should negotiate for Kenny

What worries me is our inability to beat smaller reams and our seemingly bad attitude towards them.

IF we get to the CC final we will probably under perform against the Championship side we play....
