Reports today that BRIGHTON have made a 250k bid for Owen Garven. Its about the same money we paid last summer. Im not sure whether we can say he has shown enough to warrant a profit but could we replace him at that price? I dont know.
He can score goals and he did have good periods for us at the start of the season but he certainly isnt suited to a relegation battling team which did him no favours.
Danns is leaving for sure. KG, Augustien and Mahon were all on loan and we my still lose Ambrose. One things for sure we only have 4 central midfielders (in the 1st team squad) last time I counted (Ambrose, Garven, Marrow and Dorman). Unless Dougie has some on his shopping list then should the club let him go? Do you think we can just offer them Dorman?
Actually other than Garven I dont think central midfield is any of their natural positions!

There are also reports Stoke are interested in Zaha along with Fulham and Liverpool.

£250k for Garvan? Yes please...
Don't get me wrong, I don't think he's as cr*p a footballer as some Palace fans think - but he was no more than a squad player last year, and I can't imagine that he's going to play any greater role in Dougie's plans for the upcoming season.
£250k in the pocket might be enough to ensure that one of our more important players stay on next year.
