Balotelli's agent reckons he was just off balance !
& is being 'persecuted' by the FA.
My opinion is he deserves 'FA' sympathy...! GUILTY as charged.
Lescott the same, A well aimed elbow into the jaw...raised above your own shoulder.......GUILTY.
Recently a few of us TOWN fans have voiced our opinions about the game becoming 'too soft', coupled with play acting etc. But for me, those two incidents went more than "One step beyond".
What the pair of them did isn't allowed in Boxing never mind football.
Then we have an 'agent' issuing what comes across as a threat ...'he'll take balotelli out of the game' (Premier League) if he's convicted.
See ya later STAMPER.
YOUR OPINION

Although I personally don't care for Balotelli, I think it's a case of give a dog a bad name and everyone jump on the band waggon.
Lets face it, Howard Webb didn't see owt wrong and he was only a few metres away and I didn't see much wrong either and thought he had merely over balanced and was trying to regain his footing.
To me it's trial by television and the usual over the top do gooders, who if the get their way will soon be putting a stop to tackling and any form of bodily contact.
So in my opinion Balotelli should not even be charged, because if the three officials so nowt wrong then that should be the end of it.
And for what it's worth, I feel exactly the same way about the Alan Lee goal last Sarturday. He did nowt wrong and it was up to the goalie to be far more forcefull and make the ball his, instead of allowing Lee to get in his superb backwards header.

Chalk 'n' cheese those two incidents Mirf,
(I saw the goals from the Town game on the Football league highlights show)
Nought, nowt, nothing wrong with the Alan Lee goal.
Balotelli.
(& Lescott) DISAGREE.
There's no way on this earth or 'fullers earth' anyone would put darn their foot in that manner trying to regain their balance.......
yes, It's turned into trial by television, That being the case, Is how, by seeing it a few times, especially in 'Slowmo' That I am convinced he knew exactly what he was doing.
On top of that, lets not forget that again, he's only been on a few minutes & already had his name taken,
He's a liability.
A vindictive one at that.
Watch it again Mirf...Webb did a double take on the incident, fortunately for Balo' Webb followed the ball just as the stamp was enacted......
No blame can be put on the Ref, for not acting at the time,
But it can & should be sorted out now.

Darn,
Had it been a deliberate stamp on anyone's head, I don't think Parker would have been up and running within a couple of minutes of the incident , do you?
I've played it back again and again and it's obvious that Balotelli made little or no contact with Parker's head and as I've said earlier, if the three officials saw nothing wrong that should be the end of it.
All this controversy caused when the officials allegedly miss things, which are then highlighted by TV are ruining the game.
The FA either needs to stop TV play back's of incidents missed by the Officials, or alternatively, introduce a "video ref" in line with Rugby League and take all the major decisions out of the Ref's hands.

Ok, he clipped him with his heal...so what...
In my day if somebody did something like that, he would taken care of in his next challenge with any of my team mates...Proper justice...The sulky tw-@t would think twice about it next time he came on the field in a bad mood cos he was sub
Oi! Bolatelli, if you can't do the time, don't do the crime...

spends most of his time trying to be "windswept and interesting"..
i suppose its a backlash from all the stick he got in italy due to his being a black player.. death threats and constant abuse may have led to his being odd and a bit paranoid about how he is being treated..

To be honest if you read the first paragraph of his Wikipedia page, you'll wonder why the hell anybody would employ him again....loser....

We'll agree to have opposing views on this incident Mirf,
How you can not see what I saw is ......well, unbelivable.
anyway.
The Penalty tonight.(this morning )
Shocking decision.
ricocheted off the leg onto the arm..he wasn't even looking at the ball, In the end it's cost them the visit to Wembley.
If the technology is there, Use it.
And Lescott' forearm smash !
I definitely saw that, so did a camera...needs punishment.

Darn,
Living in Oz, I reckon you'll see everything upside Darn, although I agree that Phil Dowd made an almighty bloomer when he awarded Liverpool their penalty.
we also need Video technology more than ever, because far too many Ref's just aren't good enough, especially when judging whether a tackle dangerous or not, or whether an hand ball is accidental or deliberate etc.

Far from seeing everything upside darn Mirf,
I know i didn't see Parker jump UP & head Balotellis boot
My mother always says I'm "One eyed " ...or ! take your pick
OK so we're back on track re-Dozy Dowd
I'm with you on the technology 'more than ever',
I'd also like to add, I reckon the game is so fast now too. Watch some of the Old games ...they are woefully slow.
I wouldn't want to be a ref for all the tea in Ceylon, India & China. Too much expectation, fueled by massive amounts of money & skullduggery thrown in ...with a boot
There are times when they just can't be expected to 'see' everything, if they are watching the ball.
Would 4 linesmen help ?
would cutting the grass in 1 yard wide strips aid offside decisions !
Off the ball niggles could be looked at & sorted out with technology. (even if it was after the event, it would be a conscious deterrent - bit like a multi-positional speed camera)
That. or we have to stop the replays & 'SlowMo'. I for one would have missed the Lescott elbow, & would not have seen the stamp either in 'live' time.
Fine line between Lets keep it fair & not becoming overbearing.
One or the other.....?

Balotelli is ignorant and lacking general common sense. I don't think he has any respect for anything or anyone. Just read some of his antics, you'll find them on the 'net'.
He is a liability and as for his agent saying that he will pull him from the Premier League, then I hope he does it. He isn't that good and there is no place in any sport for thugs like him! Get rid of all the dirty players, I want to see football, not boxing or wrestling!
