Okay, I can admit when i was wrong.

I spent most of the build up to last nights game saying how we were going to sit back and soak up wave after wave of City attacks.
How glad i was to see yesterdays display instead.
Bellamy was fantastic and the whole team really put a shift in.
I dont care what cup it is. We are in the final and shall do my upmost to be there.
Cant wait.

Hopefully Kuyt can break his baron spell bless him.. thought he had a good game last night.

I expected pool to win last night, city look a little weak just now, too many players off the boil.

I think Suarez coming back will have a huge impact on the team too, shame it doesn't look like we will be dipping into the piggy bank this month,

They were very lucky to win against Spurs, and Spurs did not play as well as they have done this season.

What is the latest from your owners on a new stadium by the way?

Winning while not playing well is the hallmark of title winners VC . City are doing just that. Regarding the stadium, no idea, no decision has yet been made.

Vid - It seems that they are going back to the original plans before H & G downsized it. They do not see the point in building a new stadium for £200m plus to increase the gates by 15k.

They looked at redeveloping Anfield but that is not possible because of complicated planning issues.

So they are now looking at 70k seater stadium again. but we need to be succesful to fill it.

I think you would fill it for most of your games.

Maybe you would struggle with midweek cup ties against lower opposition.

Even we do at OT every now and again.

Got to think that the plus here will be fairly large. As a guideline the Washington Nationals Baseball Stadium cost just short of 400 million pounds and only holds 41,000.

And we all know things are more expensive in the UK.

Your probably right.....I have seen anything from 200 to 500m so didn't know what to quote there
