Well, that was utterly exhausting to watch, but what a relief when it finished!
I am amazed by Djoker's recovery in the fifth set, after it appeared that he had nothing left to give. Even as one of his staunchest fans, I had all but given up hope in that final set. But how wrong I was!
But this is not about gloating over his yet another win over his greatest rival. I just wanted to express my gratitude to both these fantastic players who are pushing each other to where no one has been before. Their effort and quality of their tennis were superhuman at times. Their rivalry is a great credit to to the sport of tennis. Long may it last, whichever way it goes. As a Djoker fan, I naturally hope it continues the same trend but I do know that sooner or later, he will eventually lose to Rafa one day. I just hope that if and when it happens, it will be in a match like this and not due to some injury or whatever.
Again, well done to both on an epic match and well done Nole, you are making us your fans so proud of you!

Can you imagine Premiership football players putting in that amount of effort in just 48 hours
We would never hear the end of it, but it would never happen, we all know that.
From a player who was know to cry off in Grand Slams in the past, citing sickness and other lame injuries, to this. The turn around is truly amazing and i am not sure who would come out on top if Novak was able to play a Roger Federer in his prime.

Bladegunner I am a Nadal fan but this article of yours merits 5 stars.Really good article and well done to Djokovic.
I really hate to see Nadal lose but I have to say that Nadal lost to a better player at Australian Open and well done to Djokovic.
