What Is Kenny up to???

I know he has come out and said today there will be no transfers in or out in this window. I pretty much believed him until i got home and read this

http://www1.skysports.com/football/news/11669/7466499/McCarthy-spurned-Kenny-request

Hope this is just him keeping quiet to stop the price of the players we are actually after inflating etc

Thing is, there weren't too many fans of any team that wasn't bigging up Carroll..... Until he signed for us of course! I don't think anyone thought he would be quite this ineffective...

Without digging up old ground, i think the problem was he hadn't really proved himself over a long period of time.

The Prem has seen too many half-season wonders for any to splash out that much cash for someone.

I know it seems Chelsea got knocked for Torres, but who can hand on heart say he hadn't proved himself at this level?

I know the large fee wasn't AC's fault, but thats the way it goes when you do move for big money - you have to live up to it.

I was not having a dig.

???? I never said you were.

I just wondered whether it was now widely accepted (amongst the Pool fans) that the relationship between Carroll & Liverpool will not work.
==========================================
Possibly, but I'm not one of them. Haven't given up on him at all, he's only 22. Played well on Saturday, and I think he's trying hard, but lacking a bit of confidence, and needing todevelop different aspects to his game than he needed to to at Toon.

==========================================
Comolli is a nightmare - how he can overrule a football manager is beyond me. Yes, i know he's had his successes,
==========================================
Yes, seven of the team with which Spurs beat Inter Milan, including Bale and Modric, both of whom will fetch huge profits if they're sold.

==========================================
but he has also had some right dogs.
==========================================
Who hasn't? ...it's not an exact science, and there's always some luck involved. What he mainly tries to ensure is that there'll be some re-sale value if it does fail.

Playing Wolves on last transfer day was mentioned before, and the reply was that "they don't need the manager etc, to be available as the transactions would be done by admin. i.e. Comolli, Ian Ayre" I'm sure KK knows how to use a mobile and can keep in touch.

I am not in the know at all

But I saw both KK and Mancinis presser earlier today.KK was straight in there b4 even asked the question , no ins or outs,almost too quick with his response

Mancini was different he was asked about Carlos Tevez first not transfers in general,he ducked the question.If Tevez aint goin anywhere just say he isnt going anywhere,but he seemed unsure.Then at the end of the presser he was asked no in or outs then ,and he said yes no ins or outs

Now I could be totally and utterly wrong,Kenny could have said about the transfer thing to get an extra days rest for the lads for Wolves to McCarthy

But somethin aint quite right, the body language of KK and Mancini, I can smell somethins goin on.I have a feelin we may be in for Tevez on loan, I dont what it is , Ive just got that feeling.

You all take the mickey on Wednesday when Im wrong

Seriously I've got a load of them condoning the murderers chants while having a go at us booing Evra.

Despicable

I see what you mean Fred, I dont bother arguing with Utd glory hunters these days because it always ends with a debate about Suarez and Evra.

I'm not sure Comolli was responsible for Modric. And with respect, i'm not sure we can give credit to Comolli for bringing in a left back, who has been transformed (by Harry) into a left winger. I dont think anyone would have seen that coming.
