Statistical fact!

United fans are subjected to this 'wummery' nearly every day, yet it is LFC who have the most 'plastic' fans!
'Liverpool have more glory-hunting fans than any other Premiership team, a survey revealed.
Twenty-one per cent of those polled said they only liked the Merseyside club due to its illustrious past.
Rival Manchester United came second in the survey for wheresthematch.com, with 18 per cent.
The website said: "More than a third of fans support a team based on past glory." ' (copied and pasted from site)
What are your thoughts on having more plastics than anyone else, does this explain why Anfield is as quiet as the Emirates when LFC aren't playing United?
Liverpool have the most plastic fans!

Sadly this is the fall out from Arsenal winning 7-1 today. Sir Bubbly can't WUM them so he's resident here tonight.

You do realise the past doesn't make them a glory hunter. As you said it's due to our past. The things that happened years ago. A glory hunter is one that changes teams to support one that wins things. The people that support us due to our past actually like the club and in no way have said they support us because we will win the do the treble is it? You can't exactly call Liverpool fans glory seekers at the moment can you!

Poor old Sir Bubbly, every WUM needs a home and we are quite happy to look after you tonight. Probably feeling a bit sad that Man City tightened their grip on the Premiership tonight. Man Utd just won't be able to keep pace once Ya Ya Toure comes back and stops his beloved team winning number 20. Shame.

Good on us really. Shows we're still achieving something if the glory hunters follow us.
Another pointless wubbly

Now come on, Sir bubbly, have you been at the, er, bubbly perchance? Or is it good old-fashioned senility kicking in? Again? We, as Reds, after two decades in the wilderness, before our King returned to the promised land, we're in turmoil, witnesses to a gradual but certain decline in our fortunes. Times have changed. We are on the up, pal. So stick that in your pipe and join Stig, our resident, em, whatever. jimmyTheRed

Sir bubbly, I take exception to Sir Fred, as we all know and love, being referred to as a plastic. Remember sir, you are British! If not, begger off. jimmyTheRed ( I tried to use the naughty word, but Admin stopped me. No, I've never liked them either). JTR

Thanks Jim.
Anybody who supported the club through the Hodgson days cannot possibly be plastic.

A clubs global fan base will be made up of fans who have never been to this country or never been to liverpool or whatever, its the same for every club and natural that LFCs global fan base grew massively back in the days when they were successful

After extensive thought, I have concluded that this survey is extremely reliable, and therefore must be a fair representation of Liverpool fans as a whole, as illustrated by the extremely large sample size of 2700 fans, presumably spread over all 20 Premier League Clubs.
