Colbi by 2028 the red dogs should be debt free as well. Do you think I can say that, or do you think I'm out of order? At the end of the day it is just banter. On the director of football, I'll believe it when I see it!! This is Tom Glick and GSE we're dealing with. Also, season ticket renewals are coming up!!

I don't think dangling a Director of Football in front of fans as our 'stellar signing' is going to shift that many season tickets, Wassa.

Tom Glick thinks he can bribe fans by doing things like this, he see it that if he brings a director of football in, then players will probably follow. A lot of fans a very gullible that way. They are not all like you or me!! Just a quick one, I don't think Martin will be too pleased with you putting his name on here. I didn't think you knew him Eddie, so you did know Ozzy then?

It's crystal clear it is only a stunt to shut Wassa up, and equally clear that it's not going to work-he's already come out all guns blazing, firing off double exclamation marks.

You don't pull the wool over Wassa's eyes that easy.

Wassa:

Let's say I was an 'interested onlooker' on occasion - I probably knew various fellows by reputation. There were a few guys used to go in the Sitwell Arms on Sacheverel Street before games who were as hard as nails - invariably I would bump into them at away games.

It'd be interesting to know when their colourful past became just that, or whether they are now using their zimmer frames as 'tools'.

They were all 5-10 years older than me, and I haven't had a 'rumble' inside me for a couple of decades.

George 'the serb'?

"George 'the serb'?"

That name doesn't ring a bell. There were a few 'characters' who used to turn up every now and again, especially when teams like Chelsea, West Ham, Leeds, Wolves and of course The Florists were on the menu. Being a sensible sort of chap, I knew when it was time to part company - usually 5 minutes before things kicked off.

Who let the chicken out?

Eddie they all drink in the Neptune in town, and they are all doing well mate. Martin fit as a fiddle, I know the whole family. Last time I saw most of the old school who I haven't seen for a long time was at Ozzy's funeral where we all gave him a round of applause as he came through the gates with a Derby flag draped over his coffin. First time any one has seen that (a round of applause for a fellow Derby fan).
