watch tomorrows game pls... watch any game and see what happens when he loses the ball. he cannot cover back no matter how hard he tries, the ball gets to our defence immediately. whats even more galling? he loses the ball at a time when we should attacking the opposition! his hospital passes, his fancy dan passes he could never pull off when he was 27 that he keeps trying to do at 37 when we need something simple to the wing or to the striker.

as for elvis. he is about 90% off on his "creative" pass attempts and about 60-70 percent in general for every game. this one the stats can be seen on any stat page. tbh i would not care about the passing percentage if he was putting in good balls in the same percentage. but as soon as that flick is performed, you just know its not getting there. it is what we have to deal with now. you would think after a while he would decide to tone it down, but really what would happen if he did not tone it down? he would get benched? lets all laugh at that stupid idea, that a 38 yr old can get benched for united.

Look, giggs is a bit part player and has featured heavily this season because of injuries. His contract extension shouldn't make people foam at the mouth. He can still do a job if asked and if he can play, why get rid. He's useful to have around.

Giggs never used to have to play those passes as he just legged it down the wing and whipped in a cross or scored or did a one two with the midfield or left back.
Giggs + Evra link up awesomely, well they did when Giggs was a LM.

When Giggs plays you'll see he tries and tries and tries a cross or a through ball over and over that fail time and time again then one will come off and its all good and dandy.

I want to see Giggs on the left wing again and Stretty, I don't care what you say, he can still do it no problem for one half or so.

I'm confused, i was merely stating facts mate, as in.... he crosses the ball 10-20 times a game or whatever and only one comes off, the others don't even reach a United player normally. Same with balls from midfield, 90% of them go to the opposition, the other 10% luckily get through and we nick a goal and everybody forgets about his crap ball distribution.

Mate, giggs isn't a central midfielder and I groan when I see his name on the team sheet. His passes for the most part are awful and he gives the ball away a lot.

He can still do a job though. Like you said, half and hour on the left wing

I want to see Giggs on the left wing again and Stretty, I don't care what you say, he can still do it no problem for one half or so.

he's clearly not capable of centre position.
he assists from the wing most the time, what a surprise ...

giggs is a winger and is way more effective there. i am sure he could do a half on the left then bring on young ? or visa versa
giggs can dribble on a six pence and amazingly still has speed / pace at his age.

Yes.

He cant play very well at centre midfield and shouldnt be there.

But it would be even worse if he were to revert to a position he stopped playing years ago.
