FA have messed up big time

............ I know that it is a change of subject regards Leeds utd and could have posted this elsewhere but I feel as a supporter of Leeds utd I should post all posts on the Leeds area.

But I must say that sacking John Terry as England captain is a very bad mistake, he has not been found guilty.

The worst thing that the FA could of done was go behind the managers back and make the decision that the manager should of been making, I believe capello was correct in his decision in believing john Terry should of remained captain, credit to capello.

You would of thought that Terry was a serial killer the way he and others (Suarez) has been hounded by the press, what will it take for the press etc to stop over reacting, one day it may get too much for someone and they may end up like poor old Gary speed, not saying John Terry would do this but he must be feeling in a bad way knowing that all of this has lost capello his job as well as other things on top of that.

People in this country need to take a chill pill and stop trying to be pollitically correct doing the right thing all the time.

Allwight, pity many just want every action to be brought up in court, and then someone must lose their job.
The 'lets blame someone culture' is worrying.

100% agree esteonawhite, it is worrying and quite frankly I am sick of it.

My thoughts exactly, but I think he will be used to set an example... Long ban me thinks.

When people from overseas are insecure about their own skin colour, then you can see problems go much deeper.

I think John Terry is a dispicable human being.

If he was innocent why not go to trial straight away, he is in it for himself and cost Capello his job.

He even sha**ed his best mates misses, I hope he gets a long ban.

No room for his actions

You may be right Chorleywhite, but I think what people mean,is that paranoia is setting in,when people can be seen to be guilty, before they have been tried. Its lynch mob mentality.

I believe the FA have acted correctly.

Sadly both sides of the argument are an indictment of our society here in England.

I think JT is an odious man, I thought it before this recent event too, and I hope he gets banned, if found guilty in a court of law.

As he is the captain of our country team, until the trial he should not be picked, purely because of the media circus that goes with it.

Just an opinion.

Re 'The Press' rounding on him and their hounding of celebrities, personalities etc, I believe they are trying to take the masses off their own backs! It is a cynical defence mechanism, to take the attention away from themselves.

Eric, agree on both points, and if I had an outburst like he did, and the recipient complained, or even if a 3rd party complained, I would be suspended from work on full pay. Just because JT is a high profile and highly paid footballer, he is treated differently..... that is wrong.

Is this the same John Terry who parked his car in a disabled bay outside a restaurant as reported in a newspaper?
