Radi to Reading and Lewis McGugan

to save his Euro 2012 hopes on loan - that's the latest rumour doing the rounds.

I personally would hang on to him and get rid of McGugan. I couldn't believe it on Saturday - I sit in the Trent End Lower and had a good view of all the players that were dropped from the squad on Saturday sitting in one of the boxes in the Cloughie stand. Lewis was seen messing about, bb cap on back to front laughing and joking around when all the others seemed to have a bit more respect to our current position. The guy is a grade A n0bber, thinks he's better than he is.

Not that he'd listen to me, but if I were to bump into the idiot I'd tell him exactly what I think of him and his performances this season. Not just Lewis, but for me he's the worst culprit this season. Doesn't care - happy to collect his money and leave at the end of the season to a lower prem side or Championship side and he knows it.

Sadly there is a lot of it in football these days, players believe their own hype (majority anyway) and hold all the cards whilst us fans are left to pick up the pieces. Makes you wonder why bother... well because we actually care!!

Lewis, you're a disgrace. If I were Cotterill, I wouldn't let him anywhere near the 1st team squad and leave him to rot in the ressies.

Now, a few of you will no doubt disagree and that's fine.. it's merely my opinion of this clown.

Thoughts?

Is this a joke? "to save his euro 2012 hopes"? I have more hope than him?

Radi is not that good. He has had sone great games but they are too few. How many goals does he score? Very few. I have never seen him score a free kick. I would hang on to him as a squad player for sure cause he can pass but he probably wants to leave and play football. Maybe another team would get the best from him?

They've both got more ability than anyone who started on Saturday. No doubt they'll doth go. If your not 6ft plus and good in the air you won't be getting in the Forest side over the next couple of years.

Tudgay, Lewis, Radi, Anderson, Gunter, Findley, Elokobi, Boateng, Reid, Greening all under 6ft

I agree with offloading Radi and Lewis does need to be more consistant.

Cunningham, Chambers, Higginbottom, Deryshire, Miller, McCleary, Harewood, Moussi, Blackstock and Lynch all over 6ft

I see sutton's point that we have a lot of height. But I also think we need it. We have lost far too many goals because players have not attached the ball at the back.

I also see that players like McCleary, Guediora both over 6 foot do try and play football as do Anderson, Gunter and Reid.

We need to be strong but not clumsey. I'd get rid of Moussi.

Sadly Sutton is right, although I think in this division rather than just at Forest the 6' + rule is common. Ironically teams that seem to ignore that are Swansea, Norwich and to a lesser extent QPR and look at them.

I don't see Cotterill playing Radi which is a shame but agree with your view on McGugan although the rant because he appears a bit laid back is harsh I think he's capable of more. The bloke we got from Wolves showed how over rated someone like McGugan is by performing all the good things he does without any of the bad.

_____________

And Cotterill put his best side out on Saturday and only Gunter and Elokobi started and you can't say he's not a big lad. Cotterill has always been a long ball manager. I made a point of reading what fans of his former clubs had to say, they pretty much all said the same things. Only really Notts fans had a lot nice to say and he was only there a few games.

The longer he's been here the bigger the sides got and the worse the football. Maybe it will start to get results, maybe not but Cotterill is what he is and he's not going to change.

The lad we got from Wolves had a good game but I think some are going over board. Remember The Mooses first game? I thought we'd signed Patrick Veiras younger better brother. One performance in his first game with a lot to prove tells us little. But it is encouraging.

I see and hear what you are saying.

I hope a mix of long ball and flowing attacking football can be the answer. I love football played on the ground but also appreciate the opposition can attack you in the air and we need to play in the air sometimes if it means breaking down a team with a direct style of football.

Trying to play yourself out of this mess will result in certain relegation. We've tried that in weeks around Xmas...Peterborough springs to mind, and we came away with nothing.

I think the best move the club have made recently was to bring in O'Driscoll. I hope he has had some say in bringing these players in and it's not all down to SC and FC.

I'm still hopeful we can turn it around.

i got into the lift for the gym with a lad whose attire indicated he may have been a forest youth player and another chap whom i initially mistook for david mcgoldrick.

he caught me staring at him and looked a bit uncomfortable, i must've had the 'is that who i think it is?' look on my face. it wasn't him, but it would've been interesting to see what i'd have said if it was
