Predictions

A couple of months ago. I made three predictions that didn't look too sharp at the time. 1) AVB would get fired, 2) the wimp Mancini would flip-flop and and humbly ask Tevez to come back into the City fold, and 3) that United would retain their champs of the PL status.
Seems two of the predictions are going to happen so why shouldn't the third...United to win the PL (again) Any thoughts?

I think, at the time, last summer, we all had a giggle over the appointment of AV at The Bridge.

Fergie assured Rooney he would bring in top class players when he grabbed United by the balls.

You bought David De Gea.

AVB seems as though he could be a good manager, given the time to build a team. It's ridiculous that Abramovich sacks an experienced and talented manager who hasn't managed to deliver as much immediate success as he wanted, then appoints a much less experienced manager who is possibly just as talented, with a view to changing the way the team plays, and is then surprised when the new, inexperienced manager fails to improve the team in his first season, with a lot of the same players used to a more conservative approach. He's a fool, isn't he? (Well, not when it comes to acquiring recently privatised natural resources, obviously.) He'd probably have his CL trophy if he'd let one very good manager stay in the job for five years. Obviously, this is a great cause of satisfaction to anyone who doesn't want Chelsea to be winning things.

As for Tevez, I wonder what the City fans are thinking? It comes down to a straight choice between preserving the pride and dignity of the club and adding some potentially decisive firepower in the last third of the season...

-----------

City fans can't think. If they could, they wouldn't support City.

How do they know they support City if they can't think?

They don't. Whoever is at the top of the table, is their team. Most of your fans supported United for a day over the weekend.

What will happen if United go 'joint top' again this season?

mancini should have been sacked at christmas. with the squad he's had at his disposal in the weakest premier league ever for city to have not already tied up the league by then was truly embarrassing.
