The team is just POOR
The manager's tactics makes it even worse
It has been obvious since the season began.
we have all seen how poor sluggish and slow our passing has been this season
what happened today was nothing new.
In the EPL we normally get teams sitting back when playing us and giving us time on the ball.
whenever we have played teams who attack us we have been found out.
Udinese would have beaten us at the Emirates if they were more clinical
At Tottenham, we should have lost more than 2-1 if not for Szcez
At Swansea we were found out. Outplayed and outpassed
Man United at the Emirates should have been 3nil up at half time
So a win in England just masks the deficiencies. Our team is really really poor.
This disgraceful showing in Europe would have put off good players from us plus added a couple million to our prospects cos of our dire situation.
the players are poor simple as that.
Sagna was poor today. Walcott was his usual self. Song was poor. Arteta was poor.
Wenger failed to address the deficiencies in the team. we lack creativity.
In passed seasons we have always been bad defensively but had that creativity to score goals.
Right now RVP has saved our bacon on numerous occassions and is the only reason we are near 4th.
No scratch that
Despite RVP, its Chelsea being very poor that has given us a chance of 4th.
In perspective, we didn't play badly today.
We played how we usually play in the Premier league
We were just found out by a better more tactically aware team who didn't just sit back looking at our player's boots.
Too many passengers in the team. Song offers almost nothing defensively. Arteta has been found out. Ramsey probably should go back to Cardiff.
And Vermalen our best defender????
we need to start integrating Coquelin to our MF to give us some extra drive and dynamism

Milan have far more.
Even if we learn to defend we aint going to be able score more with the attackers we have.

5 stars for this Op, Spot on, no real quality, I have read many articles tonight on how Wenger got it wrong tactically and I have to say his tactics were bizare but we are use to that at times, but with this average team lacking quality players especially in key positions, a tweak here and a tweak there and your going to get murdered.

10 stars from me! Every point you have made I agree with and have been saying the same all season.
Other than RVP there were NO OTHER world class players on that pitch yesterday in our team. We have no drive in the team. How many pointless passes in midfield went sideways and back again- no one taking the responsibility of making a decision, having a go. RVP must have the patience of a saint - no service at all. We are 4th in the league, purely because the league this season is so poor with no single team having any real run of form. In previous seasons with this team we would be mid-table!...
I predict RVP will leave, would'nt you? He is a world class player and being wasted in our team- how many goals would he score in a decent team?..If he does go Wenger needs to step down. And we need to rebuild afresh.
