If all parties had been agreeable before they sacked him, would you have been happy to swap managers with County?
I hope Cotterill makes me eat my words but I honestly think Mad Dog would be the much safer bet to keep us up in this division......I know it isn't going to happen, SC will probably still be here at the end of the season if we fail to win another game between now and then....But hypothetically, who would you rather have in the hot seat?
Cotterill or Allen?

Allen, easy.
There are few managers I think are worse.
John Barnes, Bryan Robson one or two more that don't spring to mind.

Allen is utter pants. Cotterill ain't much better but come on. It just seems so obvious who the decent managers are at this level - Davies, Warnock, Houghton. Sometimes you have to gamble and it pulls off like Rodgers or Pardew. But anyone could see Cotterill would be a disaster. If Billy had to go then I'm sure there were safer bets than McLaren. He was a risk that didn't pay off but after he went why didn't we look at Curbishley?

Got to say I'd prefer SC to Mad Dog, I was keen for O'Driscoll to come before we hired SC but apart from sitting in the dugout looking bored he's not done much to endear himself to anyone.
I still think the problem is mainly with the players and think anyone, BD, Warnock, even Fergie would have a tough job on his hands with our mob.
Curbishley doesn't want to move anywhere north of Watford, he was great at Charlton and less good at West Ham and has been out of the game for years, I don't see why all the big fuss.
