Ding Dong

Finally and after much deliberating I have a new fella to support wholeheartedly. Ding is not the greatest snooker player that has ever played the game, and will probably never get near the heights of snooker greats such as Reardon, Davis, Hendry and John Higgins, but he is good, and will win the odd competition.

Congratulations to him yesterday on another tournament victory, where he beat an out of sorts ( despite several century breaks) Mark Selby and let's hope he can go on from this, and maybe grab a World Championship or two.

His laid back personna amuses me, and I like the guy

Their match recently (I think it was at the World Championship semi-final) was amazing to watch, Trump edged it in the end 17-15 or something like that. It didn't come down to mistakes or bad safety, just amazing snooker from both players.

Apologies to hijack a thread, but Psycho are you still playing the tournament on Tuesday at 7pm, cos I know Arsenal are playing?

No probs hijacking this thread Braveheart and nice to hear from people with manners like you clearly have. A breath of freshair in comparison with all the dross I usually have to plow through on 606
My fault I suppose, there are other things one can do with their spare time but it is addictive

Watching Mark Allan dismantling Big Boy Lee in the final and he is about to lead 5:0 and looks a pretty awesome player to me too The future of the sport is clearly in good hands for the real snooker conoisseurs

Agree Maski bright future for the game ahead and the standard just gets higher and higher. Can't remember the last time a player won consecutive ranking events.

Deighted to see my fellow countryman Mark Allen win his first ranking title, hopefully the first of many

Yeah I am a Gouldie fan. He's a part-time debt collector and top 16 snooker player - what's not to like!?
