Our Finances

I'm not sure if this has been posted before but i recently stumbled across it and thought I might as well share it for those who haven't read it.

http://bleacherreport.com/articles/1028517-arsenal-to-buy-lionel-messi-short-term-and-long-term-implication

(Ignore the title its simply to catch the readers attention with something interesting before getting into the bulk of our finances)

Now I'm no financial expert but that article was well written (especially considering its from bleacher) and had alot of valid points, what do you all think about what it had to say about our current situation and looking at summer transfer activity?

Situation seems fairly clear, even though some of the info the poster used is fairly dated.

Stan and his syrup don't do short term investment so far as I know. They also don't do 'outstandingly successful', at least not yet.

The AFC road seems fairly easy to predict. What isn't easy, or even possible to predict is the effect a combination of media and angry fans will have.

What does seem clear is that the pressure on Wenger is huge. Not just to achieve success on the field, but to essentially balance the books before the club's accountants even get to see them.
