TBF it has only been against Napoli he has made a mistake in 2012, in other games this calendar year he's been solid

from a defeñders perspective i thiñk he makes mistakes every game, iñcludiñg today.

I'm not a Luiz apologist, but he deserves credit where it is due. He has improved and deserves recognition for this.

Luiz makes fewer mistakes than he is put down for. This year he has been quite superb. The game against Norwich where he played both right and centre back due to the inept Bosingwa was one of the best CB performances I've seen in my life. He reads the game excellently and makes superb interceptions, has very good heading and tackling. Problem is he wants to get the ball down and play it as soon as possible and as a centre back in England, that's just not possible.
