I Am A Penalty Wuss

first time in a long time i didn't watch it, have to admit i feared the worst yesterday, we are quite strong in taking pens so should have been more confident than i was.

Pens seem to be the only thing we are consistent at.

sorry that should say penalty shoot outs before anyone points out number of pens we have missed lol.

When it came to penalties yesterday I was shaking, literally shaking. It was that bad I thought I was going to have a seizure!

I just sat blank stare at the TV no emotion or sound what so ever until Antony Gerrard missed. Cardiff fans were right there really is only one Gerrard.

Tell a lie i think i shook my head in disgust of Charlie Adam.

I think the ball came down with snow on it after Adam's miss.

I did watch it, although I made the noises normally associated with constipation throughout.

I love penalty shootouts...right up until the moment Liverpool are involved.

Somebody suggested a little while ago (on motd I think) that the penalty shoot out should be done first before the actual game, the reasoning being it would make both teams give their all in the game so as not to have to go to the penalty result (which would already be known).

Seriously though how good are we at penalty shootouts?
How many major finals is that in a row now that we have won on pens? It's actually a little bit embarrassing this is the way we always seem to end up winning when we do.
