Camp, Smith, Darlow
Wootton, Cunningham, Chambers, Higginbotham, Gunter, Elokobi, Moloney Lynch, Lascelles, Freeman
Boateng, Anderson, McGugan, Reid, Greening, Cohen, Moussi, Guedioura, Majewski, Meadows
Derbyshire, Miller, McCleary, McGoldrick, Harewood, Tudgay, Blackstock, Findley
chambers, lynch, anderson, smith, darlow, moloney, boateng, harewood, mccleary, lascelles and meadows i believe are all out of contract in the summer. of those we must keep lynch, moloney, lascelles and mccleary. these players will not demand huge wages so in comparison to some players currently in the squad. i would hope anderson would be given a contract as well but these four are definates.
obviousley the loan players will go back.
the likes of gunter, miller and mcgugan will get some reasonable money in.
other players to go would be derbyshire, mcgoldrick. greening, reid possibly even camp will be on pretty high wages i would think so they might have to be sold.
and raddy would probably be sold as cotterill clearly doesn't like him.
ok so all in all. the remaining squad would be:
i would hope at least 1 of the goalkeepers stays.
moloney, lascelles, lynch, cohen, mccleary, moussi, anderson, findley, blackstock, tudgay.
thats not many!!
i reckon we would get about £5million from player sales. if we are a "trading club" then presumably a fair bit of that would be reinvested into the squad. (which it would have to be) hopefully we will sign some good young players from teams around us and lower leagues.

McCleary will want his wages increasing after his performance this season.

I hear that we aren't offering a contract to Ando anyway, whatever league we may find ourselves in come August.

The situation with regard to Miller, Greening and other McLaren signings is a bit unclear. When ND stepped down he said he would honour the contracts of these players i.e.pay their wages. It is unclear whether the estate of ND will continue to pay them. It is unlikely I know, but if it does then it could have a big impact.
One player almost certain to leave is Chris Gunter. Norwich are expected to come calling with Forest holding out for £2 million plus. Kieron Freeman will be RB next season.

we've got nothing when the loan players go back and we'll have even less by the time preseason starts.
if we stay up this season next season is going to be more of the same. everything will depend on getting some shrewd bosmans and getting lucky in the loan market

if Cotterill can get the same quality of players in on permanent contracts, that he's managed to get in on loan contracts, then I see no reason to be apprehensive about next season.
he's obviously got an eye for a good signing!

big ifs hoons. if we sell gunter for £2.5m that will just about cover greening and reids wages for next year.
i wouldn't be suprised if doughtys will still hasn't been sorted by the start of next season and i doubt we'll be paying fees for premier league players.
