Downing Young Theo

Well based on the figures you have supplied:

Downing has 0 scoring/creation rate per game - at a cost of £20m for nothing.

Young has 0.69 scoring/creation rate per game - at a cost of £1,454,545 per instance.

Walcott has a 0.46 scoring/creation rate per game - at a cost of £1,000,000 per instance.

Therefore, Young has the best productivity, Walcott was the best value, and Downing should be put down.

The thing about Young and Walcott is that both are incredibly overrated and poor in general play. Like Walcott, Young had a terrible first half against Spurs. I was cursing him through the entire first half, like I did with Walcott vs Spurs. And like Walcott vs Spurs, out of nowhere Young came up with 2 moments of magic.

If it was up to me both of them would be on the plane to the Euros but neither of them would feature in my starting XI, certainly not both of them. England don't have enough quality to carry luxuries like Young and Walcott.

As for the transfer fees, Walcott cost £9M and I'm pretty sure Young cost double that. Downing is a joke and should not even be held in the same bracket as these 2 overrated players, that is how bad he is.

Adam Johnson is one of the most over-rated players around, imo. People talk about him like he is up there with Messi or Ronaldo, but he is just a Man City reserve.

Will harry be in charge for the euros? If so, forget them all, lemon will be on the plane.

I think Theo and Young should be in the squad as they are more versatile then Downing, and better finishers. There is no point in playing a winger if we dont have a big man to put crosses in for.

I think if it is Harry he will take Theo.

I also think that if Harry stays at Spurs he will try and get Theo if a new contract isn't sorted.

I think Harry is a Theo fan.

I can't believe how harshly Theo is judged. Every single wrong ball is judged, he scores two good goals against Spurs and all people say is his first touch was poor!

Lennon did very little yesterday yet if Theo had played the same game he'd be criticized, Downing is poor, I like Johnson but I prefer Walcott. Young isn't exactly exciting but he is a good player and his finishing yesterday was excellent.

For England, Theo and Young as starters, Johnson and Lennon on the Bench, Downing and Milner back in England.

Downing has played really well his last 2 times out for England and is in good form for Liverpool.

As it stands he's going to the Euros.
