According to SSN Rangers have just made an official bid for the best young player in Scotland. The message from United fans to Thompson is unless it is the 2 million all paid upfront, tell them to take a hike. They have been trying to get him on the cheap despite the fact he is easily worthy of the valuation. He is actually worth more, however we are being realistic in the current climate. Time for Mr Whyte to put up or shut up. Hopefully this starts a bidding war with Cardiff, Forest and Blackpool.

"7 figure bid"
Unfortuantely for Mr. Whyte, the Lira is no longer legal tender.

It hasn't been disclosed how much the bid was, however I think they would have had the cheek to offer £1 million.

I think this boy would be worth 5 or 6m in the next couple of years, look at steven fletcher. But and it is a big but he has this court case ongoing and also seem to have a bit of the riordans about him.
I hope he moves south dont want to see him in hoops shirt also dont want to see Gers get him.

Sad thing is, if he was English, he'd be going for £10m and would be worth £40-50m in a couple of years.

Look at that Coonnor Wickham that has just moved from Ipswich for £8 million. I'm not saying that's what we should be demanding, but £2 million is a bargain for a guy with Goodie's ability.
