Sunderland away is a tough place to go....

Perspective guys.

1 - Sunderland are a tough team to break down at home.
2 - Your passing in midfield was good at times.
3 - Normally Charlie Adam wouldn't be starting for you (but without some of his timely fouls in the first half you might have conceded earlier)
4 - You still have world-class players dotted among your team.
5 - There is no 5 because this is an unlucky number.
6 - You are in transition, Kenny has more to spend yet and your new purchases need time to bed in.
7 - You won a trophy.
8 - You were never going to get top 4, and you've already qualified for Europa, so league position doesn't matter.
9 - Yeah, Carroll was a mistake, but we all make them.
10 - Kenny has the experience.

So to sum up, it's all about next season now. You've got Europa anyway, and I think it would be a mistake to get rid of Kenny after such a short amount of time. We all have bad games.

You may have done well to hang onto Benitez, but he's gone now and you will look extremely fickle if you start a campaign to get rid of Kenny now. He has the ability to get you back into top 4, give him another summer, some more money, and a bit more time, and I think you'll get there.

But you do really need to sell Carroll while he's still worth something. Cut your losses on that one. And Downing too

Is he though?

Would anyone be willing to pay even £10million for him, perhaps someone like Stoke?

OP you mention perspictive so lets do it

Liverpool vs Sunderland home or away should = Liverpool win every time, Sunderland had thier 2 best players missing, no excuses we are a shambles

As frustrated as I am with Kenny, I've always said that I dont want Rafa back.
But I'm worried that Comolli and Kenny will be given an other £50M and squander it over the summer.

I doubt it, if they were so confident in Dalglish they would have given him £20million in January to get a striker, when you were still in with a chance of the top four.

I think Dalglish has been giving enough time and money to build a team. We are going backwards now.
