Saw one on another site, so thought i would give it a go.
Reina - Still a top goalkeeper, usually consistent with most areas excelling. However at times has made a poor mistake, which is very out of character for him.
Defenders:
Johnson - Very good going forward, and improving defensively, but at times still is wrong positionally which can result in a goal being conceded. Also in attack pops up everywhere!
Skrtel - Been excellent all year. Player of the year imo, can still dive in at times which make me nervous.
Agger - Again been very good, classy defender and classy going forward as well. Just want him to stay fit all season.
Enrique - Been a great singing, good and solid defensively and looks dangerous when going forwards, can give the ball away a little too easily at times.
Carra - A veteran, getting no which is effecting him badly, but still worth having in squad, as invaluable experience for youngsters such as kelly and coates.
Kelly - Looked good when he has come in, good defensively and looks good going forwards, Will grow better with time, a future captain in my opinion.
Coates - Not seen to much of him, and barring a mistake against stoke in league cup has looked quite good, whets better with time. Could be an absolute beast in the future.
Midfielders:
Adam- Good squad player! I feel he has had a bad press recently, first 4 months of season he kept the ball well and dictated play well with lucas. Given the ball away a bit to much recently though, worth having in the squad.
Lucas - has just got better and better, don't know how else to put it.
Gerrard - Still our skipper, struggled first few weeks coming back from injury, but now he has wee jay behind him has started bombing forward and looking like gerrard of old more.
Spearing - done well since he has come in, passes on well, tackles well. Keeps it simple, however at times passes sideways a bit to much, or a little bit to slowly.
Hendo - slow start, gradually got better and will be a good player for us, wish he was more confident in attack and would have a shot or play a slightly better final ball.
Downing - Been good last month or so, however lacked confidence at start of season, needs to run at defenders more, he looks a much better player when he does.
Kuyt - a hero, works his socks off and scores important goals. Just wish at times he showed a little more quality when needed, but is a legend for the club.
Bellamy - great signing, has played well, scored goals and looked very dangerous. His set piece delivery has been very good, however seems to have struggled since the carling cup semi, not sure why.
Strikers -
Suarez - fantastic little creative player, needs to work on finishing. Wish he sometimes he was a little bit more unselfish such as when he was with gerrard and everton. Very good player though.
Carroll - is getting better, first touch is getting better, looks sharper and holding the ball up well. Just wish he would score more goals.
What does everyone think??

thanks jimmy, trying to be as balanced as possible.
I think we have had good performances with carroll in and out of the team. i think the first 5 minutes of the game define whether we are going to play well or not. We don't seem to have the ability to go through the gears to win games.

Agree with the OP on most, I believe hendo will be a good player for us but at the moment he is scared to do anything ambitious which is a real shame, maybe a few sub appearances will help with less expectation.
Spearing has been fantastic, I for one thought he would be shipped out like Guthrie and become a squad player elsewhere.
Need a goal scorer in the squad though despoeatly

Maybe we do have a better win rate with him in the team, but I wouldn't read an awful lot into that - we hadn't won a Premiership game that Gerrard had started for some inordinate amount of time before Tuesday, if I remember correctly.
I know we lost against Arsenal, but we were playing some scintilating stuff that day; I don't think we'd have played that well with Carroll in the team.

In a nutshell....hendo ain't a winger. That's why he looks poor, play him centrally and you will a major difference.
Its like playing fifa with Liverpool, you never seem to fit in everyone and hendo just got stuck out of position to accommodate others.

Hendo's got it in him. wait and see. If you cannot see it, may I recommend that you watch other exciting sports, like synchronised swimming, or darts. You never know, you might get a buzz out of it. JimmyTheRed

JImmy, you telling me to watch other sports is like me telling Pacino to learn how to act.
Whether or not Henderson has it in him, and four good games out of 35 leaves a lot to be desired, actually has nothing to do with my post. Maybe you can tell me where and when he has 'started to impress' cos he is playing far worse than he did in the first third of the season. Maybe if I sign off my posts with my name, people will take it easier on me because they'll think I'm mentally challenged.
It works for you.

Henderson has been average all season, people see average as a bad thing but for me, Henderson as a twenty-one year old lad, in a new team, to hold his own as one of the average players is fine. However it won't always be like that, as next season he'll be expected to improve. I don't think there is anybody who can't see the potential Henderson has, so we should certainly stick by him, he'll be a great player for us, I'm sure of it.

Lambo, you're doing exactly what a lot of our fans did to Lucas a few seasons ago. Every misplaced paced met with groans etc. He is 22. Give him a chance. He is not the finished article and I and others have seen enough in him to see that he is going to be a good footballer. I saw the signs in Lucas and gave him no stick and I will also do the same with Henderson.
Patience is the key word.
