Who's the new guy?

http://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/0/football/17349313

Have a look at our match FACTS section. When did we get Dean in?

Anyway predictions for tonight? Caymans I'm looking to you now!

I'm going with 1-0 Palace

Agree with you on Moxey Parr arrangement. I think Moxey is a better ball winner and Parr has the endless energy to bomb up and down the wings and his crossing ability is pretty good. For me Parr is player of the season closely followed by Jedinak.

I hope O'Keefe stays in the team but I would be happy to see KG back he is good but I think perhaps him and Jedi are too similar in their capabilies.

Murrey looks like a very frustrated man at the moment- you could tell by his reaction at the weekend to being subbed wasn't a good one. Saw Sheff Weds are attempting to bring in Scans on loan but I reckon that is BS.

Yeah I don't think KG and Jedi should play together because they're too similar. It's like having Lampard and Gerrard in your squad. Nobody wants that!

I was at the pre season friendly away to East Grinstead and O'Keefe was really good and has decent vision and passing ability. However Calvin Andrew was up to his usual tricks against the mighty East Grinstead. I don't think he had a shot all game but you could tell they were frightened whenever he got the ball. Can't believe we've let him go out on loan!

Where you at the Leicester game when Parr scored?

I agree 1-0 Palace.

Nicely done MonThePalace! Only just managed to log on- busy day in the office, so I was not able to follow the match.

Solid result, although the goal was at the death and the stats suggest it may have been against the run of play. Still, not complaining!!

The other results have been kind to us (would love to have been at Elland Road for that 10 goal thriller!)... After I had written off our play-off chances on saturday, does anyone else find themselves daring to believe again...?

Have to say that was probbaly the WORST performance I have ever seen Palace put in.

Our normally reliable players were absolutely rubbish couldn't even put a string of passes together let alone create an effective attack.

I feel a win was a bit harsh on Barnsley who were equally dire to be honest. It was not pretty viewing.

Saw this morning Freedman was pleased- If that was me I would have been furious. They were lucky Scanz scored cos everyone near me only stayed to boo them off the pitch!

I actually missed the goal because I was looking at the full time results! 3-7 is quite the eye catching result though!

The first half was awful! Near the end of the game we did get back into it and I think Jonny and Kwesi made an impact. I think a draw would have been fair but can't complain.

However, even though the first half was probably the worst 45 minutes I've seen for a long time I would NEVER boo Palace. So for people to boo at full time after we WON is beyond me! Therefore I would agree with Freedman that it was pleasing to see that the players have a never-say-die attitude and although some fans had given up they didn't. But in regards to entertainment it was rubbish. It was good to hear fans clap the players off at half time in response to the boos

As for Murray, Martin and Ambrose they were useless!

The only time I have ever booed at Palace was when Peter Taylor in charge because were fecking hopeless and destined for league 1!!!

Ambrose couldn't give a hoot I think yesterday and his set pieces couldn't even beat the first man. The only bright spark was our defence keeping another clean sheet...amazing effort from all of them back there.

I didn't get why Murray was put out wide right when he isn't exactly gifted with pace when. William's coming on lifted the whole crowd and he grabbed the game by the scruff of the neck. Kwesi looks like a good prospect and I hope he gets a better run next time. Him, Scanz, Wilf and Williams is a promising attacking front!

The main reason for keeping Ambrose is for his set pieces but last night he was useless. I'd rather us take short set pieces to keep the ball and work opportunities rather than just giving them the ball.

I didn't get why Murray was on the wing but I think it was so Scannell could play upfront.

Once we get a replacement for Clyne we should be sorted for our defence.

When you think about it we have Kwesi, Zaha, Scannell, Williams, O'Keefe, Marrow plus more academy players that's quite a good young team. I don't think they would all play together but it's better to see a team with potential compared to Warnock's OAPs

I would have thought putting Martin made more sense so Murray could win a few headers for Scannell to feed off. Alas he what out of his comfort zone and looked thoroughly ticked off.

I hope we can get Dembuya in that speedy kid from Donny in- he looked the business. I know Parr can also slot in that RB position too but the combo of Moxey and Parr looks good.

It's great really if we can finish in the top half we can maybe attract a goal scorer in the off season. We also need another CB and Gardener to sign a new deal and I think we would be set to go for next year full throttle!!

I thought he was pretty good and would be a good replacement. Dougie said in one of his post match interviews that Gardner has a clause whereby he gets a contract extension after a certain amount of games so he will be here next season. Seems like a good idea with older players because they could get injured or be replaced (Iverson springs to mind)

We do need a consistent goalscorer and hopefully Dougie can pick out the next AJ or Ian Wright?
