Out: Brad Jones (£1m), Fabio Aurelio (£0m), Stephen Darby (£500k), Alberto Aquilani (£5.2m), Joe Cole (£2.5m), Daniel Pacheco (£800k), Maxi Rodriquez (£1.5m), David Amoo (£500k), Nathan Eccleston (£500k), Dirk Kuyt (£6m)
= £18.5m
In: Junior Hoilett (£0m), Roberto Soldado (£22m) and Luuk de Jong (£12m)
= £34m
Thats a net spent of only £15.5m, and keeps us finacially secure especially with 10 players off the wagebill and only 3 added.
First Team:

-------------------------Lucas------------------Gerrard
de Jong---------------------------Suarez--------------------------Downing
------------------------------------Soldado
Subs: Doni, Carragher, Kelly, Henderson, Hoilett, Bellamy, Carroll
Thats an 18 man squad with Coates, Wilson, Flanagan, Robinson, Spearing, Adam and Shelvey making up the numbers.
What do you guys think?
My Ins and Outs for the Summer

I doubt we would get him as Valencia are currently set for Champions League qualification also, so I was maybe being a bit too ambitious.
Luuk de Jong currently plays for FC Twente (who are set to miss out on the Champions League). He plays in an attacking trio and ha 34 goals in 67 games for Twente, and is only 21.

The only problem I have with Kuyt is that he is 31, isn't currently first team, might want to leave and has a high wage bill.
I could see the likes of Milan, Inter, Juventus, PSV and Ajax all being interested in him. Meaning we could get around £6m for him.

Don't know if true, but Kuyt has said that he needs Kenny to guarantee him more first team or he will have to look elsewhere for first team football.
So if that's is true can't see him being a backup player for us or happy to be one, so might be time to move him on whilst he has a bit of value left.

All your selling and buying seems realistic to me .
I think just Soldado alone, if he could hit the ground running, would shoot us up the table.
But to actually get to say 3rd, we need two class wingers to go come with him.

Would like kuyt to stay as a squad player, but alas the man gives plenty of effort but it's not always good enough in certain games with his lack of technical ability.
If that's true,cash in now i say.

You might disagree but with the right players behind him i think Fletcher from Wolves could score alot but dont know if he could handle the pressure off playing for Liverpool. De Jong sounds like he is one to watch out for.
Valencia are a selling club so with the right offer i think they would force him to go.
Also another 1 is Sessegonson at Sunderland but he isnt a striker.

At £23.5m for Juan Mata, Valencia do seem to have big problems financially, this could mean Soldado is up for sale.
There was a real hype about Fletcher a couple of weeks ago, but i has since died down. He has 22 goals in 56 games for Wolves, which isn't bad at all for a lower league side. If Wolves go down, then I wouldn't mind making a bid for the 24 year old.

Soldado would be a dream come true. Very similar to Torres, maybe not so elegant with the ball at his feet but a very good player.
With the Euros coming up, and he seems like a certain for the Spain squad (with Villa injured and Torres being the Torres of late) his stock will rise because he'll get the goals

I think your estimates of money received is well out. Aquilani has technically been sold to Milan for 6m due to a clause in his loan terms that if he plays 30 games for them, then it triggers a permanent deal for the said amount. Sure, we may conjure up a few million for the likes of Pacheco, Amoo, Eccleston and Darby, due to their age, but you're not going to be seeing transfer fees for anyone around the age of 30 who find themselves as excess baggage. Best example: how much did we pay for Joe Cole? Chelsea wanted him off the books, and in this economic climate, clubs would rather let such players go for nothing just to get their wages off the books, and we're no different. We'll make 6-10m, maximum from selling players this summer.
I just hope FSG still have deep enough pockets to bring in a few players needed to really beef the squad up - namely a couple of strikers and a decent right-winger.

LOL, you honestly think you will sell Kuyt, player who will be 32 years old shortly and in going into his final year on his contract will be sold for 6million?
If wishes were horses springs to mind.
