I don't want to poke fun at Portsmouth in their current predicament - I hope they find a way out of that mess - but I couldn't help being startled by this passage in David Conn's piece on them in The Guardian:
"With a contract for image rights, payable to a company registered in the tax haven of Guernsey, Ben Haim's pay totalled around £50,000 a week, £2.5m a year, for four years, a £10m commitment. Two administrations on, bottom of the Championship after a 10-point deduction, Portsmouth must still pay Ben Haim's wages."
Image rights?
For anyone who doesn't remember, this is what Tal Ben Haim looks like: http://img.skysports.com/08/04/218x298/BenHaim_Tal_785713.jpg

It's like £50,000 a week isn't enough for defenders these day. Jesus

The 'image rights' is a tax dodge - hence Guernsey.
Well done for totally missing the entire point of the piece though.

Toblerone Boots - well done on missing the fact that the article is of a humorous nature.

Newcastle were paying Joey Barton £675,000 for his image rights -a scary thought.

Im merely implying that you take your life frustrations out on your partner. The constant sniping on everything Liverpool suggests you have issues.
What part of my post was derogatory to gay people?
