Hi all woke up this morning and realised it wasnt a nightmare we actually did play that badly.
I went last night and we were awful throughout. How we managed to score 3 even is a mystery to me now.
However, there is one good thing to come out of last night. Warnock will now realise most of these players are simply not good enough. The fact is our defence has been awful for years now and still is. I think the recent performances have just masked how horrible they are.
I have even heard a few Leeds fans say "maybe O'dear isnt so bad after all" well maybe that was the wake up call we all needed. Warnock has a lot of work to do.
Londergan was awful last night. Worst he has been in a Leeds shirt. Whats happened to him? He looked a decent player at the start of the season. Somethings not right?
Connolly is just a very (below) average right back.
Robinson - His age and no pace caught up with him last night
Lees - AWful defending but you feel he has been thrown in at the deep end this season.
O'Dea - Actually wasnt as bad as Lees last night but is still not good enough
Brown - Played well at times but just too old and slow
Clayton - Not as good as he thinks he is
Snodgrass - Cant do it alone
White - Not sure if hes a left back or winger. For a winger he doesnt create enough chances or get into goal scoring situations, still unsure on him.
McCormack - plays too deep
Becchio - Scored but did little else
Good thing about last night

Outwood mate how we doing.
You can tell you went to the game, because your spot on with everything.
A few people this morning said to me it must of been a great game. IT BLOODY WAS RUBBISH, like you say how the hell did we score three, we created nothing and couldnt string a pass together.
I turned to my dad after 5 minutes and said, not a chance we'll win tonight, I also said if they go infront they'll get 4/5, how wrong was I

The thing is a lot of these players have played week in week out, no rest. Im not backing up what Warnock said but you cant expect to play 50 games per season. We have no back up, or there just not fancied.
No excuse for Lonergan though - Not sure what it is with him looked a good buy start of the season but over last few months since he came back into the team hasnt been same player
