How many times do i have to say this; playing with Carroll and Henderson is like playing with 9 men!! You cant beat teams with 9 men, theose two have done nothing to warrant a place in the team, they take no responsibility and create little or nothing, they mainly play the "safe" pass and have zero confidence....get them out of the team now!!
Tactical incompetence with Downing today not keeping him out wide. His role was undefined and it messes up others too. We lacked quality in the middle of the park and McCarthy, MacArthur and latterly Watson were strolling in there. The accuracy of our passing and crossing is very poor and I would even go as far as to say we don't look like we are practising them. That would be indefensible. Carragher looks shot and if we're playing a zonal defensive system then we're getting caught out using it and we should stop.
