Interview is on there, talks about sterling at 0.45
Can someone type what is says as im on an iPhone which doesn't play flash sorry for being a pain and thanks
TBF he has a point but I want to see Sterling play more..
^ Goes like this.. (not exact)
Players were tired..
Unfair to bring on a 17 year old at home..
Not the way forward and has to be managed properly...
He says its 'not fair on him' (sterling) then goes on to say, 'he might of enjoyed it, but i dont think its the way forward for us'
Carroll, Henderson and Adam is the way forward for us
I've just voted on the MOTM on the LFC website, and Sterling is winning with 32%
Super Injunction.
Basically Kenny on Sterling:
"It's not fair on us to bring on a 17 year old boy, It's not fair on him. He's a good player, he's a good lad, but at the end of the day, we're going to have to manage him. He may have enjoyed getting on the pitch, but I don't think it's the way forward for us".
I don't think he should have brought him on in that situation today but we have all been wanting to see more of the youngsters - as much as we are all doom and gloom this evening it was essentially a dead rubber, the league has been gone a while as we already qualified for Europe and had no chance of top4 - it's all about the FA cup
I will be very angry if he doesn't get another appearance this season
I thought Spearing looked like he fitted in perfectly when he came on, and livened us up a bit!
I'll say one thing.
I think I want Suarez to be given the captain's armband. Shows more passion than the other players (Gerrard included) put together. As long as he starts to mature a bit.
In 10 minutes Sterling created a much better chance than Downing managed to do in 80 mins.
Sterling is the way forward, not Downing!
FRED
Don't say that again!
I didn't Downing was that bad today, put in 2 beautiful crosses but nobody was in the box again.
Why not honest, he's more passionate than the others who show nothing but apathy.
Aimless crosses are not chance in my book.
There are more players deserve the captain band much more than Suarez.
If it wasn't for Skrtel we would've lost by a lot more.
