deBear,
Ive noticed that from alot recently. Some whom have previously been good sports resorting to some personal pash.
totally unnecessary and disappointing. Celtic got what they desreved today. Nothing. The best team won. But the display from their manager was a disgrace for a club of that stature. Unfotrunately, it comes as no surprise. But clearly alot of Celtic fans like him for who he is. He is a Celtic fan at heart. But he is not an ambassodor for their club. He constanlty brings himself and heir club into disrepute.
Unfortunately, some people on here also fall into the same category and cant exchange banter without getting personal when things dont go their way. You have to accept the bad with good.
Alot has went Celtics way this season. An incredible run of form. It was always gonna end sometime.
But their response to it was embarassing.
Ally, shaking every Celtic players hand today was true class. True dignity. True Blue.
nothing on the F T P comments guys??
what F T P comments bhoy ?
I thought I head the odd rebel song today. But to be honest, in light of the of the occasion and its significance, thought both sets of fans behaved impeccably today and created one of the best atmospheres at an old firm game ever
channel 4 news alex thomson was at game today and said many F T P comments went unpunished from police today and in his opinion summed up all thats wrong with scottish football
try and watch his report on game

I will.
Watched on SKY and never heard any of that. Thought there was great atmosphere at the game. When it was 3-0 and Celtic well up against it I did hear some dodgy singing from their end that was greeted by boos from the Rangers fans. THat was about it tho.
I think the fans, in general, deserve some credit for today. But I think Lennon needs to look at himself again. He could have caused some unsavoury senes if the ref had allowed hi to reappear for the 2nd half. Surely a manager should be above all that ?

surely a manager should be allowed to ask questions of the ref
also he should have been able to sit in the stands!!!
says more about rangers fans than lennon
Bhoy,
as far as i am aware you're not supposed to do so during the 90mins. After the game yes. But not interfere with the ref during the game opr at half time. Secondly, we dont know what was said.
Bhoy,
says nothing about the Rangers fans. It was Lennon that was sent off. He let himself down and his team down. Nothing to do with Rangers or their fans.
Esc, you were more up for it so entitled to the bragging rights. I think if lennon shook the hands of every rangers player after win or defeat he would still be accused of trying to antagonise. Enjoy your day. I just can't wait till we eventually get to celebrate something
im sure it does mate
he could not sit in your stands for his own safety??
meaning your fans would possibly try and attack him
so yes it says alot about rangers fans
good debate but please try and see it from both sides and dont be to blinkered
celtic were terrible today rangers deserved to win but look at the fact our manager could not sit in your stands for his own safety
also on mccoist shaking every celtic players hand
did he do this in december when we won 1-0?
"...clearly dominating matters..."
Well, at least there is nothing wrang wae his eyes
LMC,
. But had lenny been at the trackside to shake Rangers players hands after a defeat, then trust me, I think he would go up in alot of peoples estimation.
Noone is having a go at him for nothing. I simply fail to understand why he continually lets himself down with his behavious, rants and ridiculous accusations.
Does his behaviour not embarass you ? Celtic have had a fantastic run this season. Had some big decisions go in their favour and equally some go against them. We all have. You simply cant take the decisions that go for you and then spit the dummy out when decisions go against you. Not that any of the decisions today were incorrect. All 3 red cards were correct. But Lennon has to learn to better repesent hiself and his club in these situations. People just look at him and shake their heads indisbelief at his antics. THey see them as the antics of someone who you would not expect in such a lofty position. More of some idiot in a bar.
He has totally distracted from his teams inept and insipid performance today and once again directed the spotlight bothon himself and unfairly on the officials. And no doubt will try to claim it is some sort of establishement vendetta. Bonkers stuff
Bhoy,
Lennon's behaviour disgraced himself. End of. He couldnt take his place in the dugout because of HIMSELF.
A prize dumpling. Yet he blames the refereee for not allowing him to do his job. He deprived himself
why cant you comment on the fact he could not take a seat in your stands?
Nothing to do with rangers fans. THat was a refereeing decision.
Who is to say Lennon wouldnt have started sometihng with a fan given the pash was spouting ?
Anyway...back to the main event. Rangers won fair and aquare. We were up for it. You didnt turn up.
Move on to next week and in the league then
ohh so you cant comment on it ok mate thanks anyway
"...he could not take a seat in your stands?"
Maybe the polis feared for the members of the crowd that he could get at. Cannae be too careful wae people like Lennon. They can turn in a second. You saw how he was after a two second whisper fae Ally before. The naughty step was appropriate, as he was ranting and raving by the touchline and it was only a matter of time before something popped in his head.
