Ive never met any famous football stars myself, but was supposed to have dinner with Nelson Mandella about 10 years ago as part of a group of about 10 people. Tony Blair heard he was here though and turned up and insisted Nelson Mandella went with him for dinner, so by the time I got there he had gone. I did meet his cousin and the tribal queen of South Africa though but not the same.
I don't bother going up to meet them but saw VDV not so long ago if that counts.
Bumped into Sergio Aguero last August near the arndale centre in Manchester. Was with his child and a couple of other guys

I stayed in same Hotel as New York Cosmos when they played Chelsea. Went to the game. In the morning found myself in the lift with Franz Beckenbauer - just him and I. Talked about the game......
I met Defoe and Ian Wright on holiday in Vegas last June
Wright was a grumpy but Defoe was really nice and said he didn't mind Chelsea (as I was in my Chelsea shirt)
Les Ferdinand let me cross the road opposite Carrow Road stadium in January. Thats it im afraid
I met Luka Modric recently and he told me he hates playing for FC Potato, thinks the area should be twinned with Tripoli, thinks the supporters are all a bunch of 's with unjustified delusions of grandeur and an obsessive small club mentality> He also said he wished he had joined a bigger club in the summer as apparently Wolves were in for him

Dzeko nearly ran me over after we played them this season the
Balotelli drove past me
The only footballers I've met are Graeme Le Saux in a bathroom, and Ian Wright on a night out (he seems to get about doesn't he )
Yeah I see what you mean Wrighty's everywhere isn't he He is good for a laugh though!!
Only ones i have met are Anderson, Nani and darcy blake, from what i can remember.
A couple of years ago I played golf at an event at Foxhills in Surrey with some ex pros.
I played with Spackman who was good value and a bit lad although he told me he was prouder playing for Liverpool than us.
Also played with Ray Wilkins who is a real gent and sta next to Frank Stapleton at the meal after who was an absolute bore, probably because I had too many beers and mistook his TV work for that of Jim Beglin
Mark Bright was there and a complete , so far up his own ar5e, Martin Peters was a good chap and Bonnetti did go on a bit in the afters Q&A session.
Also met Martin Peters a couple of other times in various 5 a side comps.
Used to see Vialli and David Lee at my local Golf Range in Chiswick, always had time for a chat.
I've met Sun Ji Hi, first Chinese player in the PL, and solid RB/CB for City
Just remembered that I met Bonetti once in a sports shop near Wembley and got an autograph, he was promoting his goalkeeping gloves at the time, so I suppose under those circumstances, he would have met anybody!!
The Yak spilt my pint in a club once. Spent the rest of the night getting rounds off Benjani, Yakubu (Used to come down from Boro to hang out with his Pompey mates) and a few other Pompey players. T'was a good night.
Also see Linvoy Primus regularly for work. Got his mobile no. on my phone. Called me yesterday in fact.
I met Ledley King once but that was almost 14 years ago when he was a youngster but I really loved the way he was so modest.
I saw Arshavin driving in Camden, met Shaun Wright-Phillips in St James' Park (in London) and have also met Saha, van der Sar and Edgar Davids.
That's about it, really.
Admin - any chance of multi-boarding please?
i was in the same Thalys train as Carlos Kameni 7 years ago i got his autograph and all!
Met Andy Townshend on a beach in St Vincent in 2010, he was a good bloke and chatted to us for 15 minutes and made his excuses and left when I asked if he was getting the drinks in!
I've met. Ossie, Chopper, Bobby Tambling, John Hollins and Peter Bonetti at various Chelsea West Mids bash's.
Also nearly got into a fight with the Birmingham City bad boy crew of Robert Hopkins, Tony Cotton, Noel Blake and one I can't remember. Hopkins overheard my mate talking about how big his nose was and took offence!! Haha!
Oh I also met Curtis Davies in Walkabout (Birmingham), was so drunk though I barely remember it
