There's hope....
But we won't stay up
An avoidable mess!!!!!
There is always hope, but I really don't fancy us getting anything at Swansea as they pass and move the ball around us at will for 90 minutes.
The other teams are just as bad as us and determined to take it to the wire which is helpful. We could have been dead and buried ages ago!
4 defeats on the bounce at the most important time of the season and most worrying, the lasting ability to concede at least two goals every game, but normally three.
The only chance of survival we have in my book is if we can keep some clean sheets.
16 QPR 33 -18 31
17 Wigan 33 -26 31
18 Bolton 32 -29 29
19 Blackburn 33 -25 28
20 Wolves 33 -39 22
I wonder how VenKean predict we are going to get out of this mess! No doubt there are still many positives to be found in our current situation!
We're doomed. We're as bad as Powerlines FC.

On a serious note though, I really can't see us getting out of this. As OOJW says, Swansea play good passing football - and they will probably out battle us all across the park too. Defeat there, for me, means it really is game over and truth be told defeat there also means we don't deserve to be in the division.
I'm dying to hear the horse muck from Kean's mouth if/when we go down after all the lies, promises and other general nonsense he has spouted over the season.

At least on here we did not fall for it. The majority have predicted all season that we would end up in the situation we now find ourselves. Not that it makes it any better or easier to take.
Even in large groups of Rovers fans online such as the Facebook group, there were always very very few (literally one or two) people who backed Kean from the start of the season and I'm convinced they were either stupid or just trolling.
I think we all saw it coming OOJW. It's heartbreaking.

Well nothing convinced me more of that than the Liverpool game. That was probably the most embarassing PL performance I've ever witnessed from a Rovers team:
They had 10 men most of the game.
They gave us 2 penalties.
They played their reserve side.
They were on their worst run since the 1950s.
They turned up expecting to get beat.
And somehow we lost. We don't deserve to be in this league but as I said in a previous thread I have some faith in the bizarreness of Rovers under Kean. At almost no point during his reign has a good performance/win guaranteed more of the same, and I think to an extent you can say that about bad performances/defeats. To me we're just as likely to turn up at Swansea and play well as we are to turn up and roll over. Whether playing well actually gets us anything is another matter of course.

I do agree, but I've also noticed that, again in line with Kean's weird management, whenever there is a feeling that we can acchieve among our fans, we invariably fail, e.g. the Bolton game. And when there is a feeling that we are going to get thrashed, we often do quite well, e.g. Man U at O.T. So I'm sticking with the negative feelings for the moment.

I feel sorry for MaccyT. He genuinely believed all the promises and spin and thought we were heading in the right direction. He will be as gutted as the rest of us at how things have panned out recently.
Wasn't having a dig at him. He's kept a poisitive attitude throughout (perhaps foolishly) and relegation might come as an actual shock to him, whereas many of us have seen it as a likely possibility for some while.
All, glad to read that this thread of veteran Rovers can discuss the total B***s up of our beloved club without lowering ourselves to levels the media thinks we are.
We all know we'll be Rovering long after chicken farmers and incompetent managers have taken the M65 west for the last time.
We'll be Rovering together in our Care Home sunrooms, teeth in a pot by the bed, waiting for that mysterious brown lunch soup (Curried Chicken probably!) and watching X Factor repeats long after this crowd of ruinous buffoons have pocketed their winnings and left Planet Blackburn with Darwen.
Up The Rovers!!
Well said Duggy weve seen it all before!ILL STICK IT OUT TO THE BITTER END.Up the Rovers!!

Mine is exactly the same as yours except I have QPR finishing with one more point (37). I think that means even if we were to beat wigan they would still finish above us...not looking good...
I got
Rovers 37 pts -25
Bolton 37 pts -29
Villia 36 pts -17
QPR 36pts -21
Wigan 36pts -27
Wolves 22pts -47
But i don't think i will be right as i'm hoping we win Swansea Norwich and Wigan games
So the Wigan game is critical - if we are still in contention, of course.
Mine reads:
16. Wigan 37pts -28
17. Bolton 33pts -33
18. QPR 32 pts -26
19. Rovers 32 pts - 30
20. Wolves 22 pts -48
