In truth we´ve all been talking about Jovetic in recent times and I think he will be one of the players we sign in the summer.
His name keeps popping up and when that happens we usually sign the player sooner or later.
If there is something we lack in our squad it´s versatility.
We don´t have enough players in our squad who can do a job in more than one position.
I wouldn't say no, I would probably prefer someone like Hazard though as Jovetic is more central but someone of his quality would be good. However, I genuinely don't rate Dembele any worse than Jovetic, both very good players, but Dembele would probably be cheaper, is more versatile (can play deeper) and is 'PL proven'
We're turning into the Belgian national team.
Jovetic is quality and would be one of the less expensive players on our radar.
However I reckon we'd still need a pacey winger if we signed him.
The good thing about signing someone like Jovetic is that he could also act as backup to Mata when needed.
As it stands we have nobody in the squad who can cover for Mata if he is injured or suspeneded.
Mata is absolutely knackered and I would dread to think that we´d have to use Mata in every single game next season as we´ve done this season.
Hopefully we can have Kakuta and deBruyne back in the squad next season as well who can both play behind the striker

Good point although I´m not convinced we´ll ever see Kakuta in a Chelsea shirt again. I´d like to bring him back for another chance but I see him staying in France next season.
I'm not sure with Dembele, he is a classy footballer but I'm not sure if he'd be able to make the step up. Jovetic is a couple of years younger than Dembele and has played CL football.
Although he might do a Valencia and play even better for a bigger club (no disrespect to fulham).
These are the sorts of signings we should be making, not splashing out £50m on Torres, or the rumoured £40 million for Hulk.
We need intelligent signings, and our board seem incapable of getting them.

Let´s hope that the board get it right this summer as our record in the transfer market over the last few years has been average to say the least.
Mata was a great signing especially for the price. But we´ve made too many signings that have been nothing more than moderately successful and we need some more proper success stories.
